Be KINGDOM Minded!
As a former politician I believe that it is now my turn to speak up and say what thus saith the Lord. I always like to err on the side of caution and not just speak my own personal opinions, rants, and ideas because I know that that won't be fruitful. It won't be beneficial to anyone.
My ideas and thoughts won't make a difference unless it is led by the spirit of the Lord God.
I want to come aside and talk to my Christian brothers and sisters (those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior).
I pray that above any political party or ideology that modern day culture promotes, that you keep the Kingdom and the mission of the Kingdom first and foremost.
The preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ is the best and most powerful message that we can give to our nation and the nations of the Earth. The message of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for all humanity is what will transform the hearts and minds of the people.
But if you yourself are instead being transformed by the culture and being swayed by personal opinions and not setting aside the time to hear the voice of the Master, then you will lose your effectiveness.
So be careful.
Make sure you are cautious and remain Kingdom minded.
The world is watching you...
how you act, how you respond, and the things that you say and do.
Will they know you by your love?
Or will they have a hard time deciphering that you are a child of God and a disciple of Jesus Christ?
Remember to be gracious!
All of us are in the same condition. We are in a place that we have never known before. We are in a volatile situation where there are no answers and we can't solve the problem unless the Lord himself comes through and gives solutions and remedies to all of the issues that we are currently facing as a nation.
So be kind, be considerate, be gracious, show love!
As Kingdom citizens, God requires us to pray for those that are in authority over us. There was no condition set upon that particular scripture. It does not matter if we agree with those in authority or not but our desire should be to pray for them as an act of obedience to the word of God.
We want to pray for our President, for direction, pray for his salvation and deliverance, pray for healing, pray for wisdom.
If you've never served in government, then you don't understand the pressure that comes along with the office of trying to serve your fellow Mankind.
So be gracious to those who have sacrificed their families' privacy, quality time with their kids, and their personal privacy to serve on your behalf.
If you do hold some type of political office or governmental position then you understand the gravity of the decisions that you make and how your decisions can affect so many around you.
So I ask that you would humble yourself and pray and ask for prayer so that you can make wise decisions that will please the Lord! Human wisdom can only get you so far, but it's the supernatural, divine wisdom of God that makes the difference.
For those who are sitting on the sidelines spewing accusations and speculating ....
undergird those in prayer who serve in the government and politics, those who are running our nation and the nations of the Earth.
Talk less, pray more!
Criticize less, pray more!
Speculate less, pray more!
If you don't have any definitive answers or solutions or you have not heard directly from God on His strategy, stop speculating and keep your opinions to yourself.
Don't be a busybody!
2 Thessalonians 3:11
For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
1 Timothy 5:13
Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies who talk nonsense, saying things they ought not to.
